Charli & kate in wollongong provides incredible service on almost anything ! I got my hair styled here for my year 12 formal as well as a caviar hydration treatment by Akif, and I truly don’t think my hair has looked better !! Akif is absolutely amazing at both the styling and the hair treatment, he provided exactly what I had asked for and made my hair look so shiny and healthy! the prices are also incredibly reasonable and affordable. i couldn’t recommend more !!

I had my hair done today by Akif and couldn’t be happier. My colour from a previous appointment was sitting too light and warm for me, and I just didn’t feel good about myself. Akif looked at me, was honest, and wasn’t afraid to tell me what would actually suit me. He immediately knew what would work for my hair and my hair type, and confidently guided the whole appointment. The whole experience felt different, his cut, even how he washed and blow dried my hair. Everything was done with so much intention and skill. I walked out feeling genuinely fresh and like a new person. Akif is incredibly talented and has a real eye for what suits someone. I’m so grateful he helped me feel beautiful and confident again. I had nano bead extensions done at another salon that ended up causing a lot of pain and scalp irritation. After being ghosted by my original hairdresser, I contacted Charlie & Kate and I’m so glad I did. Every staff member I interacted with was incredibly lovely and welcoming. Even though the salon was very busy right before Christmas, Akif kindly made time in his schedule to remove the extensions and then cut and style my hair. He was so professional and caring, and my hair feels healthy and beautiful again. I’m extremely grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend Charlie & Kate — especially Akif!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot recommend Akif highly enough. He spent over five hours transforming my dark brown hair into the most beautiful, healthy blonde — with zero damage. His attention to detail, patience, and genuine passion for his craft were obvious every step of the way. The colour is flawless, the cut is stunning, and the final style made me feel like a completely refreshed version of myself. My new favourite salon. Originally I went in for help with my friend's daughters coily hair, the products I was shown were just perfect, the ease of working with her hair after using them I didn't think was possible. So I went back in for products to help with my oily scalp and dry ends. The products and advice I received were again, impeccable. It's their Chevaux range, they are just beautiful products! On top of that though, I was advised a different, much cheaper range for shampoo, so they are definitely more about looking after you and your hair than making a profit. After more than a few self-dying incidents, I bit the bullet and booked myself in for a colour. Ruby went above and beyond to create the colour I was looking for. She literally blended 5 or 6 different colours and it came out perfect. I mean, actually perfect! I live further south so I have been back to the Shellharbour store twice now, they had kept Ruby's colour on file so both times again, just perfect. They're not the cheapest but I promise you the service and products are more than worth it.
